It’s funny that it only takes one awesome piece of content to propel you into the spot-light. She handled it perfectly though.

Just one question regarding this post: when you gibe the product you send a link to a squeezes page or you just give the product in return for a retweet? There’s no list building here? I’m sorry if it is a basic question, but I’m not familiar with twitter yet.

Building a large twitter following doesn’t mean shit if you don’t know how to engage and build a community around them.

I see many people with huge followings, that get barely get 5 RTs to a ne wpost. To me that says they don’t engage enough for those followers to want to share their stuff.

Big following, combined with daily engagement is where you get twitter nirvana.

Thanks for sharing this. I am just getting to grips with how to use twitter for business and hadn’t heard of Twitter Give Aways. We have some documents that I am sure we could convert it ebooks its just a question of convincing my boss of the value of giving things away for free.
